Michael's Story

At the age of ten I bought my first 45 rpm single not a 78 rpm record...no I am not that old!. And yes I also missed out on the 8 track tape era. However, I was a vinyl freak and reluctantly transitioned from vinyl to CD's and I am still a hold out on downloads and continue to shop mostly at the brick and mortar independent stores that continue to struggle to survive. As a result I find undiscovered and sometimes just as frequently rediscovered artists that were overlooked first time around. Thanks to my daughter's creative and clever idea, this is a place to share about artists that might get overlooked in the instantly gratifying musical world that now exists.

Grace's Story

From a young age, I had a passion for music. My dad has over 2,500 CD's in his collection and he always dragged me CD shopping with him. Once I was old enough to appreciate music, I always begged him to take me to the stores. There's a certain satisfaction that comes with buying the album you've been looking for for months on end. My favorite feeling, however, is when you discover a new artist and buy every single album of theirs. So now I want to share that wonderful feeling with any music lover that came across this website.
